We buy all forms of broken gold jewellery, whether it be bits of chain, old earring backs, deformed rings or items with missing stones - the list is endless. Basically if its gold (we can test this) then it is worth money whatever it's condition.

Scrap Platinum

Platinum is one on the most valuable metals in the world, rarer than Gold it commands a price per gram almost twice that of Gold.  Common items of jewellery made of platinum are wedding bands, engagement rings, earrings, pendants and Necklaces.  Less common sources of platinum are industrial scrap such as thermocouple elements, the motor industry (catalytic convertor components) and platinum wire (used in laboratories, electronic test equipment and the jewellery trade). Whatever it's former use and condition, if it's platinum then it is worth money and we buy it!
